I had lost my job after a dedicated 27 years with a company and found myself with no income and a denial of Unemployment benefits. I felt like something was wrong with the system and I should be granted my full benefits. I did not want to attempt to conquer an appeals hearing on my own so reached out... to Jim Abrams as he came highly recommended from a colleague. May I mention he personally answered my phone call and also happened to be after hours but was fully willing to talk to me. Jim was brutally honest with what we were up against and made me feel zero pressure to hire him. Ultimately I knew I wanted to be represented by Jim and given all his experience and track record, he made me feel confident. when all said and done, what I thought would be slim to none on winning the hearing... Jim made it happen! I do not feel it was just "a win", I feel it was a "Slam dunk win". I certainly could not have done this on my own. Jim was the best! He helped me through an adversarial proceeding. After two delays with the case, the opposing party withdrew. This is not what I expected from the opposing party.
