Long story short I was arrested in a grow house with a stolen Glock in another room adjacent to where I was standing at the time of arrest. I was by myself. I gave the police limited information. With immigration on the line I had to take this pretty seriously. I researched and went to many offic...es trying to find the right fit. I was originally thinking about getting a marijuana attorney but decided the weapons charges would probably be the more serious offense so I decided i would not just hone in on mmj attorneys. I found him just like how I found the others through the internet. I called his office and spoke with a man and told him my issues and then I got a face to face. Once I got to the office the Manager and I made a virtual conference call to Imran to discuss the case. This was during the height of the pandemic so I understood why I could not see him in person. The owner or manager guy told me he choose imran to potentially represent me because he has a good history with marijuana and weapons charges and knows the riverside/san Bernardino system very well. I provided all the paperwork I had so far which was the warrant plus ticket with all the charges. They said until they go to court and get some documents they won’t know 100 percent what we were dealing with but from what I had they discussed potential advantage points I had and how they would be able to use that in a way to get a good outcome. I also felt like they worked more like a team since they had 2 guys in the room plus imran on the phone. So I asked Imran the basics like what his workload was like and how difficult it would be to reach him if I wanted to talk. After the meeting I decided I was going to go with them. After our first meeting with imran he gave me a list of things that I needed to do to make sure we had a good outcome. He also referred an immigration attorney that wrote me an impact letter for like 250 bucks. That ended up being very important. There were times he did not pick up the phone but he would always call me back on the same day. There was not one instance he didn’t call me back by 7pm if I had tried to call him that day. I was okay with that as long as I knew I would get a call that day at least. Also he would answer emails on the same day and answered his text messages. The entire process took about 11 months and took a deal for 415c non criminal infraction. This was way better result than I had even hoped for. I was really happy about the results. The costs are fair and cheaper than a mmj specific lawyer.

I was wrongfully arrested and charged for a crime I did not commit. Imran believed in my innocence as strongly as I did the entire time. The court system was not kind or fair to us, but he got through every obstacle and was able to pull off a full dismissal of my case, despite false allegations. If i...t was not for Imran, I would have had at least a blemish on my record, but I told him at the beginning that I will not settle for anything other than a dismissal and he heard me and made sure I got exactly what I wanted out of my case. Most attorneys would have tried to sell me on an offer, but Imran understood that it was not what I wanted and worked hard to achieve the results I was looking for. I recommend him as a defense attorney.

Imran Syed is an excellent lawyer, he exceeded my expectations in defending me as I was being wrongfully accused. Mr. Syed never gave up, he was always well prepared and knew how to handle any situation in a calmly respectful tone. He updated me before court, after court or whenever there were chang...es he was always on top of everything.
