I hired him prior to getting married to represent me and draft my pre-nuptial agreement. After poor response time, it was finally finished...or so we thought. Well, 2 years later my marriage came to an end and when I went to my divorce attorney, she flipped to the signature page and asked if the copy... I gave her was the original. When I indicated that it was, her face dropped and told me that it was not valid...as it had never been notarized. She could not get over that there wasn't even a place on the document for a notary public to sign. She said over and over how this was the most basic lawyer 101 fact, that all documents need to be notarized to be considered valid and she could not believe that he did not get it done. Needless to say, I am appalled at his lack of professionalism...and it cost me a lot of money.
