First of all, I don’t think there could be a more compassionate attorney on the planet. Heather genuinely cared about us and our situation. I didn’t feel like I was talking to a lawyer. I felt like I was talking to a friend. She was unbelievably patient with us as we made some decisions. And she... did such a great job explaining things that I ended up getting answers to questions I didn’t even know I had. If you are thinking about getting your estate planning done, here are two things I’ve learned—1) it is vastly more important than I ever realized and 2) you should run (not walk) to the phone to call Heather.
