Watched for 3 and a half to 4 years of my girlfriend using G. Holly as her attorney in her divorce/custody, support proceedings...other than the divorce getting finalized in the first year, her getting primary custody, (pretty much a GIVEN for a Mom in Mn anyhow)virtually NOTHING else was accomplishe...d other than her paying him. She had to get any and all evidence for the trials/motions herself. She would wait for days for return phone calls from him..IF she even got a return call.. And THEN, less than 2 weeks before an upcoming court date he suddenly jumped ship and said he was too busy with other stuff to represent her anymore (THAT I believe..he acted too busy to do much of anything except collect attorney fees and push for postponements..for the entire time) If I ever needed representation in court and had to choose HIM or myself, I'd save the money, take my chances, and would do it myself...at least then I would know my best interests were being worked towards...

Extremely dissatisfied by Mr Greg holy’s services. Being referred to by a law agence to represent me in my divorce case. Mr holy was now working had to please the opposite party, He was rude to me and will not pick my calls. He was showing up only to few minutes before the hearing time. He le...t the lawyer of the opposit party decide on everything. I handed up with a shared custody while having my children for 303 days a year and my ex only 62 days.$50 child support monthly payments per child.Every year my ex claims one of my children on his tax return .while both of my children leaves under my roof for the all year.Both minor children are under my medical insurance .I’ve been struggling for the past ten years because of Greg Holy. He literally made me work for my ex husband. His incompetence destroyed my life. I ‘m now going back to back to court with my ex because of Mr Greg’s incompetence.Money that’s all he wants. Once he get payed in full you become unknown, No phone call answered,No talk, no explanation about your case, I can’t or never refer even my worst enemies to Mr Greg. He will not defend you but gives you nightmares

I was referred to Greg Holly by a friend after being charged with a refusal DUI in Anoka county, MN. I requested to speak with my lawyer when asked to perform a breathalyzer test, but when he didn’t answer in a timely enough manner, in the officers opinion, Fridley police decided to call it a refusal.... Since day one Mr. Holly had a pessimistic attitude and stressed how difficult it was to beat these kinds of charges. Mr. Holly also stressed many times that he works as a prosecutor as well. I had to remind Mr. Holly on a few occasions that he was not prosecuting me, & that I had retained him as my counsel. I felt that he spent more time trying to convince me to accept the plea deal from the state than he did finding ways to win my case. Despite the evidence in my case (body cam video showing me pass the field sobriety test, me speaking clearly & coherently, & me never refusing the test), Greg Holly was adamant about me taking the deal that the prosecution offered. This case was prolonged for 2 years with the prosecution offering a 4th degree DUI & 2 years probation as the only plea bargain. I asked Mr Holly to request that the charges be dropped to careless driving given that I did not refuse the test I simply ran out of time waiting for him to respond to my call. Greg was adamant that the prosecution would not drop the charges to careless even though this was the first charge I had ever had of this nature. I decided to go to trial & after paying Greg Holly in full, over the course of the next two years I would literally have to remind him of who I was & the details of my case on more than one occasion. After going back & forth & sometimes literally arguing with Greg Holly about how I wanted him to approach my defense & him telling me it wouldn’t work, I hired another lawyer named Chuck Ramsey. Two weeks after hiring Mr. Ramsey, the prosecution agreed to drop the Refusal DUI to a careless driving charge. Greg Holly was uninterested in getting the best out for me & showed a complete lack of concern for me as an individual with unique circumstances & even forgot who I was on more than one occasion!!! I would NEVER retain Greg Holly again & I would NOT recommend Mr Holly to anyone I know either. I would have been better off saving my money & having a public defender to represent me. If anyone finds themselves in a situation such as mine, I recommend calling Chuck Ramsey he is a serious lawyer & he did for me in two weeks what Greg Holly could not do in 2 years!!!
