The Best Choice for a Military Defense Counsel

After getting involved in an investigation with my command which would result in a Special Court Martial, I didn't know who else to turn to. In my time of need, I found Mr. Healy's law firm website and turned to him for help. After seven long months of waiting, the week of my Court Martial came and h...e was ready to fight for my rights. He was confident, fearless, and tore apart the government's theory piece by piece right in front of me in the courtroom. He saved my career, and I would get my original orders to Japan back. 10/10 would recommend him to any active duty personnel seeking legal assistance.

Quality of the Highest Tier

10/10 would recommend. I was extremely fortunate to stumble upon Mr. Healy during the early stages of my legal process. From the beginning, Mr. Healy was with me every step of the way, guiding me through the chaos of the military legal system. He broke down complex problems into easily digestible con...cepts that I would normally be hard pressed to understand. His extensive knowledge of the military legal system shows in his confidence and competency both in and out of the courtroom. Every step my command took against me, Mr. Healy was there to meet them with equal to greater push back. My process involved challenging a multitude of 6105s, adverse fitreps, and a final confrontation at an Administrative Separations Board. I'm happy to report a victory at the board that was originally thought not possible by other representation. To quote my military counsel upon achieving a victory at the board "Of all the civilian representation I have seen, both good and bad, he was one of the best." If there is one major takeaway, Mr. Healy gets results. If you want to win then you need the most suited Subject Matter Expert on your side. To any who reads this, you're already in the right place. If you hire Mr. Healy, you will be hiring Quality of the Highest Tier.

Worth every cent if you need a military defense attorney!

I had the unfortunate experience to become involved in an investigation on a Marine Corps Officer while I was TAD with the Marine Corps. The command investigator called me into his office to make a statement and refused to speak to me with an attorney present. About 7 months later, I was called by my... department head and informed that I needed to go sign a charge sheet and the plan was to take me to XOI in 3 days. I completed the charge sheet and finally was able to see the investigation completed by another command and on the Marine Corps officer and I was informed of the charges. My chain of command told me that it was going to be dismissed and to accept responsibility for the things I could. The day of the XOI, there was an acting XO present. At the end of it, he recommended to send it to NJP. The chain of command told me that the acting XO stated he would have dropped it but he was just acting and did not have the authority to not send it to NJP. As I knew the allegations were not true and I had multiple witnesses who had not been a part of the original investigation, I immediately began looking for a civilian attorney to help with the process. I came across the MJA website and put in a request for a consult. Gerry called that night and spent over an hour on the phone with me discussing the case until that point. Although I think I wanted to believe the chain of command, he pointed out I had reservations about it or else I wouldn’t have called. Gerry was able to point out that the information was presented at XOI and it was still referred to NJP. He listed the options of what the outcomes could be and felt that the charges would never warrant the level of a court martial. As an officer, if I refused NJP, it would be sent to a show cause hearing or board of inquiry to show what I should be allowed to remain in the Navy. Gerry stated if the command was going to drop it at NJP as promised by the chain of command, then the CO would dismiss it when I refused NJP and if it was referred as he thought it would be, then I would have known I made the right choice to refuse NJP. Gerry was right and the CO sent it for an administrative separation for my misconduct, but thanks to Gerry’s advice, I didn’t have substantiated charges as I had not gone to NJP where I would have no rights, It was not referred to court martial. I received the notice right as I was informed that I was on 48 hours notice to deploy in response to the COVID response. Gerry was able to get an extension for the response, and then was able to contact the witness I provided. His expertly written brief was worth everything I had paid for and was written so much better then I could have ever hoped to have written myself. Gerry was able to point out the flaws with the command’s lack of investigation, was able to cite case law to support why the charges were not supported and forced the command to look at my entire career. It was submitted and the day that Gerry followed up with the Command JAG, I was notified that the CO was dropping the charge for dereliction of duty and would issue a NPLOC for the Conduct Unbecoming Charge and a report of no misconduct was routed to PERS. I cannot thank Gerry enough for the work he put into my response and saving my career! I would recommend him to anyone and vouch that he is worth every penny to save your career.

Thank you for the very kind words. It was a pleasure working with you, and I am grateful your command decided to change course once they understood the full story! Good luck. Gerry

Attorney For son's case in Germany

Mr. Healy is an amazing attorney. I reached out to Mr. Healy not knowing who to turn to on my son's allegations while serving in the Air Force in Germany. After speaking to Attorney Healy and given the information needed to see where we would go from that point to be able to proceed. After reviewi...ng everything and doing extensive research on his background and cases, we decided to hire him. Mr. Healy was able to fly out to Germany to represent my son and win his case. This case was not an open shut case since the beginning. Sex crimes are very serious and when falsely accused of such a crime this is very hard to prove. But with the representation of Attorney Healy, he was able to help my son and give him his life back. I highly recommend Attorney Healy if you are looking for someone that will fight for what is right and just. Thank you Mr. Healy for the amazing work you did on this case and giving back my son, his family and myself peace of mind.
