Tonya Anne Oliver

 Ms. Oliver is a partner in the Tampa office. She started her legal career as an intern for the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office under the direction of retired Sheriff Lee Cannon.  Upon completing law school, she served as a prosecutor with the Pinellas-Pasco State Attorney’s Office from 1998-2007. She was a solo practitioner from 2007-2010. Ms. Oliver's family is rooted in law enforcement and public service. She primarily focuses her practice on first responder benefits, including workers’ compensation claims, pension, and representation in internal affair investigations. In addition to her civil practice, Ms. Oliver represents those charged with criminal and traffic offenses. Her criminal practice includes the representation of juveniles to ensure that the laws unique to juveniles and the due process rights of juveniles are followed. In addition to her legal career, she enjoys coaching AAU high school basketball and competing in extracurricular athletic events.
