Erica Erickson is a wonderful young Attorney at Strauss Attorneys', Hendersonville, NC who I met I believe it was from 'We are Brevard' FB page. I may had said something about the noise in the apt complex I was living. This year was so trying for me as the young couple above with their dog was noisy ...after quiet time at night and early morning hours. I began to have anxiety attacks and truly thought I was not going to make it through the night one time. Another time I thought I would have to call a first responder to help me. I called the apt. office many times and leaving messages to no avail. Erica came in the picture and asked if I need any help from her. I was so relieved that she offered to help me so I took her offer. She was on this ASAP. After months of trying to find another place to live, just a few weeks ago an apt. elsewhere came up and Erica was on top of things getting me out of my lease! I "met" Erica on a FaceBook site, and was really truly impressed by her knowledge. I was struggling with various family emergencies due to having elderly parents who all decided to get sick at the same time. Decided to update our wills, to make sure all OUR things were in order so OUR children don't ...have the problems we had to deal with. I met with Erica at the Hendersonville office, and she spent a lot of time getting info from me. She then told me about a trust...how we would benefit more from that than from a will. I spoke to my husband, and we decided to go with that trust. Throughout the entire process, Erica and the office staff were helpful, knowledgeable, and thorough. I am SO very happy with our decision, and feel so much more comfortable with our affairs now. She is very knowledgeable and extremely personable. We also had been talking throughout the trust process about difficulties we were having with eldercare (specifically my mom). She assisted us, made room in her very busy schedule for us, and was very comforting and understanding. Her communication skills are excellent, her demeanor is approachable yet professional, and she is more knowledgeable than attorneys twice her tenure. She made us feel like we were her most important clients. I would recommend Erica for help with any legal matter, but ESPECIALLY with eldercare issues and estate/probate. Best choice, hands down.
