Let me start with this - in the beginning my case was COMPLICATED. We are talking divorce, children, MULTIPLE moves to many different states by the opposing party, a jurisdiction issue to even get anything started, and we had a parenting plan from years before that was so old, inconsistent, and comp...letely irrelevant to the current situation. It was a mess. After working with Erica, in what I would consider a fairly short amount of time for a custody issue in family court, I was extremely grateful for her work. That being said, I would give Erica more than 5 stars if I could. She is incredible. Not only is she very knowledgeable and knows what she’s talking about, but she is also honest, straight to the point, and has wonderful time management. During my entire case she was so good at getting back to me and answering my questions (and I had A LOT). I truly had no idea what I was doing, I had never been to court or dealt with anything before this but she explained things to me and made sure I understood what was happening and what my options were. My case was for custody issues with a high conflict opposing party. She handled it perfectly. I never had to worry about not getting a response in a timely manner, or if I was walking into a situation without knowing what to do or not do. In the end, things were handled and she helped me accomplish exactly what needed to be done. She communicated with opposing parties attorney on exactly what needed to be handled at that time so everything moved along smooth. She was always on time for our scheduled meetings and very attentive to my concerns. I truly cannot say enough good things about her as an attorney. If you are searching for someone to represent you, Erica is it. I had multiple consultations before hiring her and I have heard/witnessed SO many horror stories that friends and family had with attorneys and I can say I had NO issues with her. Not a single one.
