Elizabeth Kay Traub

I had been represented by Ms. Traub in 2014 on two different charges. The first charge (and most major) was a Carnal Knowledge of a Juvenile. Even though I knew I wasn't guilty, I was absolutely terrified. I had done a little over a month in jail and had "heard stories" of what the State was going... to do to me and this and that... . Enter Ms. Traub... Even though I was nervous, she was compassionate and nonjudgmental. From the very first meeting she made me feel comfortable. She listened to every single thing I said and called me if she had any more questions. In the end the case was dismissed, and I remember talking to her in the hallway while in tears. I truly believe had I not met her that I would've been convicted. I also truly believe she cared what happened with me. The second time I used her was for a traffic ticket. I had got pulled over for going 80 in a 50... And, I never payed the ticket. I called her and talked to her. She made sure I didn't already have a warrant (and surprisingly I didn't) and got me a court date she made me SWEAR to go to. I went and she got my ticket changed to a non-moving violation. Woo Hoo!!! Basically, I wrote all that to say -- Ms. Traub is a phenomenal attorney that I would recommend to anyone needing an attorney. She wasn't an attorney who was "too busy" to get back with me. But most importantly... She's effective! I pray I never need her again, but if I ever do need another lawyer -- she will be the one!
