Before co-founding Dorsett & Zapata, Ms. Zapata practiced for six years at a national immigration law firm, where she had the opportunity to change lives, keeping thousands of families together. Ms. Zapata has attended many interviews with the U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Service and has assisted in the representation of clients before the Immigration Court. Ms. Zapata received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Criminal Justice (Magna Cum Laude) from Florida Atlantic University and her law degree from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad Law Center
