As a dispute resolution professional since 2001, I've had significant experience as an arbitrator of employment, breach of contract and securities law violations in hundreds of cases. I’ve served on cases involving complex, multi-party, high-stakes disputes, which have provided me with insight into the wide array of legal and practical issues that usually impact resolution … serving as chair, sole arbitrator, and panelist in commercial arbitrations under the rules of AAA, FINRA, BBB, party-specific clauses, and as a court-appointed conciliator.
I've had two professional career tracks:
17 years of experience in employee relations and EEO/AA compliance; and
20 + years in commercial real estate as a broker (7) and as an attorney (13) representing clients in all aspects of complex commercial real estate development transactions (including LIHTC and mixed financing affordable and mixed income housing projects); representing developers and assisting investor’s counsel in the acquisition of industrial sites for sustainable energy projects; negotiating leases (ground, oil and gas, retail and office); writing/ delivering legal opinions on loans, equity and title; resolving office/ retail lease disputes; drafting and opining on AIA construction contract provisions; negotiating partnership agreements and employment contracts for key employees in multiple asset entities.
