I lived at the same Trolley Square address for 17 years when suddenly a crazy female moved into a downstairs rental apt. I lived on the 3rd floor and the only exit was the stairs that landed right at her apt door with the exit door adjacent. I couldn’t completely avoid her, but I did a lot of tip toe...ing to dodge the KooKoo Bird neighbor. She complained about every little thing and was hellbent on having the condo association evict me. When she discovered they couldn’t evict me without a police report — she became hellbent on calling the police routinely. When WPD dismissed her complaints, she resorted to completely fabricating charges. In fact, the WPD was not called to our address for the actual “criminal charges.” That sneaky loon went to the police department to file criminal charges that were 100% fabricated lies. She then notified the condo association that criminal charges were filed — and that led to me being notified that a warrant was issued for my arrest. I seriously thought it was a joke — so I drove over to Shell gas station minimart where a police car was parked — asked the officer if her would run my license for warrants. Sure enough — a bench warrant had been issued. So I went straight to WPD and turned myself in. (No mug shot was ever taken and I wasn’t read my rights, but I did go before a Judge via tv in a jail cell. Then released to my own recognizance. I researched attorneys online and found Mr Hurley’s name & profile. Also saw his appearances on FOX & MSNBC! A few days later the condo association instructed my landlord to evict me. I replied “not so fast, I haven’t been found guilty of anything.” So much for innocent until proven guilty because they weren’t going to offer that to me. Ultimately, they had no other choice. The case drug put in court for less than a year. When we finally did go to court I refused to accept any pleas — not even a misdemeanor because I did nothing wrong and the charges were BS. She claimed that I went up to her main window and threatened her. Hogwash. Funny how the neighbor video recorded everything and none of it stuck, but the one charge that stuck she had no video recording of. That’s because it never happened. Hurley got the entire case dismissed — not even a speck of dust on my record. The crazy neighbor moved out the next day. Good riddance because of a great lawyer — JOE HURLEY! He was worth every penny! He’s got years of experience — a lifetime of achievements — and a fierce reputation.
