One of a kind experience and result

There is a lot I could say about the wonderful experience I've had while working with David but the reviews speak for themselves. First of all, I have NEVER experienced such superb communication, starting with the initial consultation and ending with my rights being restored. Throughout the entire p...rocess I knew exactly when the petition was filed, when it was reviewed, when it was signed, sent off to various agencies for updates, etc., et. I have never waited more than half a day for a response to any of my inquiries or concerns. Having had a colorful past, having spent so much time and effort cleaning up the wreckage, I was very concerned and involved, yet David and his firm always made me feel as if I was their priority.... THAT to me is priceless. Because of a misdemeanor conviction almost 20 years ago, my Second Amendment rights were taken away. 4 months ago I called David and today I have my CPL and have made, and was approved for my first purchase. David thank you and your team for being so wonderful and making an otherwise rigorous process seem so seamless!

Best experience I've had with an attorney

Unfortunately in my lifetime I've made enough poor choices that I've come in contact with a handful of different attorneys in a few different fields that have represented me. Most have been fine, one or two I'd probably avoid in the future, and then David. David has just set the bar as high as one co...uld expect in his area of law. From the very beginning he spoke with knowledge on my topic and with a level of professionalism that is rare these days. He was able to differentiate his services from his competitions without bad mouthing them, another rare trait in this industry. He was honest with my situation and set realistic goals. He met all of them and exceeded my expectations on time and with the honesty to refund a few dollars that were left over when he accomplished what he said he would. A complete restoration of my firearm rights that MANY MANY attorneys had told me wasn't possible. If you have been told no by others please call David before accepting that answer. If he says he can't you're probably sunk but if there is ANY way it can legally be done, David is your man. David, thanks again for restoring my rights and allowing me a second opportunity I didn't think I'd ever get again. A job very well done indeed.

Gun Rights Restoration

I would highly recommend David Newman to anyone who has their gun rights revoked. (in fact I already have) At our first meeting he outlined in detail the procedure, timeline and different scenarios that may effect the outcome. His retainer was more than fair and he accomplished my restoration rights ...well within the timeline he had originally proposed, There were left over funds from the restoration retainer which was promptly returned. He kept me very informed throughout the process and answered all my questions as they arose. He knows the procedure very well and had every answer to any questions I had asked. His billing was concise and very detailed and very easy to understand. I saw where all my retainer funds went and had no questions. I have hired several attorneys in the past and I was leery that if I had a question I had would be billed for his answer. Not the case here. He is what all attorneys should be. Fair, honest, trustworthy, professional and extremely qualified. If anyone needs their gun rights restored, David Newman is the one. Highly recommended. If needed I would without doubt hire him again. rw

David Newman is a hard worker!

I came in contact with Mr. David Newman through the Washington Arms Collectors association. I needed his help in having my sons firearms rights restored. Our first hurdle was in dealing with the King County Prosecutors office who incorrectly denied the firearms restoration based on flawed legal inter...pretation. This was followed by a flawed decision by King County Superior Court Judge Jean Rietschel. Our next move was to the Washington State Court of Appeals where King County Proecutors office conceded they were wrong to deny the restoration. The Court of Appeals agreed and remanded it back to Judge Rietschel who finally restored the firearms rights. This entire process took almost 8 months and Mr. Newman never faltered, persevering on, each and every time. Mr. Newman kept us informed at each and every turn with emails or phone calls. I have been a law enforcement officer since 1977 and I have never met such a hard working attorney in my life. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr. Newman if you need an excellent, knowledgable attorney.

Foreclosure Defense

David helped me avoid an imminent trustees sale of my home. With his help, I'm still here and he is still helping me. There is so much fraud and deception going on in the mortgage servicing business that it's difficult to decide how to fight back; or if to fight back. David is a smart and inquisit...ive guy who will help you to figure that out. Don't expect unrealistic promises from this guy. Honest and practical. No fee gouging. No arrogance. The only reason I rated him "good" rather than "excellent" as knowledgeable is because these loan servicer attorneys are tough opponents who know every trick in the book, legal and illegal, to take your home. And some of those tricks seem to be trade secrets. This foreclosure business is not a level playing field but David holds his own just fine. No receptionist politics to get through to him on the phone. He answers it himself. Prompt e-mail responses too. I recommed David with no hesitation at all.

Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community

"I enthusiastically endorse this lawyer. He finds solutions for clients... and is totally willing to seek ideas from others to help his clients when matters are not within his primary practice areas. David's technical knowledge in the areas of civil litigation and Second Amendment rights is very far above the norm. David is a caring and thoughtful person and each client is an individual, not a statistic. David and I are working in the area of Second Amendment rights and firearms law, including development of a comprehensive gun trust system backed up by a consultative approach to asset protection and personal defense. David thinks outside the box, and correlates his own expertise with that of others. This is an unusually valuable skill in an attorney, since our profession often lives within our own legal "silos"."
