Biography
I am licensed attorney with experience as a felony prosecutor in both Missouri and Kansas, and also as a criminal defense attorney in the KC metro. My passion for storytelling and broader trial work led me to return to school in 2022 to pursue a Ph.D. at the University of Kansas, where I study rhetoric and political communication. My research interests include legal rhetoric, political communication, constitutional law, and jurisdprudence. I now teach college courses at KU and work as a trial consultant, blending my love for narrative, rhetoric, and law. Outside of academia, I serve as an elder in my church and enjoy hiking, paddle-boarding, and exploring new places, with Athens, Greece, and the Caribbean as my favorites.

Great lawyer
I had a traffic ticket and parking ticket I needed help with and Darrion handled both in a snap! The traffic ticket was reduced to a non-moving/non-points violation and the parking ticket was dismissed entirely. I can't recommend him enough for any of your traffic/ticket legal needs!
