Daniela Marina Lazar

I unfortunately turned to Daniela in chaos of an unexpected and highly contentious divorce. She let me down in every single way. Communication was slow and extremely painful. I felt like an annoyance. Billing was INSANE. She was unprepared for opposing counsel and seemed lost most of the time. Askin...g her for advice was a a complete waste of time. Luckily I figured out what was going on and switched to a different lawyer. Who was 10000x more effective, communicative, actually listened and offered advice, AND WAS WAY CHEAPER.

I don’t even know where to begin. She was constantly talking down to me from the consultation. I could hardly get a word in edgewise. She would often wait until the day before court to discuss vital information, and it showed in court how unprepared she was. She would talk in circles about whether or... not I need to please the court or the opposing party. She even hung up on me abruptly a couple times when I finally put my foot down and insisted on getting my thought out before being interrupted. She dropped me as client soon after, which was better for me anyway. After hiring a new lawyer I am shocked by how poorly she handled my case and how much she missed. Biggest waste of money and time in the most fragile part of my life.

I had the unfortunate experience of working with Daniela Lazar from Envision Family Law, and I cannot express enough how disappointed I am with both her and the firm as a whole. Daniela was recently let go by the firm without more than a week’s notice to me, and the process has been a disaster from s...tart to finish. Here’s a breakdown of my experience, which I would not wish on anyone dealing with sensitive family law matters. First, communication with Daniela was nearly impossible. She was consistently unresponsive, with emails going unanswered for over a week at times. When I finally received responses, they were often unclear or didn’t address my questions, leaving me in the dark on how to handle situations or respond to the opposing party. On the rare occasion she did respond promptly, her guidance was vague, and there was little to no follow-up to ensure things were on track. In court, Daniela was beyond unprofessional. She struggled to keep basic facts about my case straight, often stumbling over her words and showing a lack of confidence. It was clear she was unprepared, unable to answer straightforward questions from the judge, and frequently failed to anticipate how her decisions would impact me and my family. This lack of preparation and focus caused immediate issues that I had to “just deal with” afterward, with no solutions offered. At one point, I tried to discuss my dissatisfaction with Daniela’s handling of the case, only for her to abruptly say she would be dropping me as a client. Within hours, she had filed to withdraw from my case, leaving me stranded. This kind of behavior shows a total lack of regard for clients and their situations. The firm itself was no better. When I requested a refund of my remaining balance after deciding I no longer wanted Daniela as my attorney, they sent the refund to an old account I hadn’t used in months. This mistake led to weeks of trying to recover my funds with zero support from the firm. They laughed it off like it was nothing more than a minor inconvenience and ignored my emails when I tried to address my concerns. After switching attorneys, I’ve been shocked at how poorly my case was handled under Daniela’s watch. Several attorneys I consulted were appalled by the amount of money I’d already spent with Envision Family Law and the disorganized state of my case. My new attorney accomplished more in one hearing than Daniela managed in three, with none of the mistakes or unprofessional conduct. This was a deeply disappointing experience, and I would never recommend Daniela Lazar as an attorney or Envision Family Law as a firm. I am honestly shocked that someone with such poor legal skills and a lack of professionalism is legally allowed to represent clients. Save yourself the stress and look elsewhere for a firm that takes both you and your case seriously.
