In 2018, I hired Daemie following a slip and fall incident. Unfortunately, the company I worked for subsequently laid me off, citing a policy that prohibited employees from using crutches or knee scooters on the premises. This policy was inconsistently applied, as the administration was permitted to ...use such devices in an office-like setting. Regrettably, Daemie failed to meet critical deadlines, which ultimately resulted in the inability to pursue legal action against the company due to untimely filings. This failure had significant consequences for my case and potential compensation. As a result, I incurred several thousand dollars in additional expenses to retain a new attorney and had to pursue a different legal route. The company was never held accountable for their discriminatory policies. The prolonged duration of the case forced me to relocate and start over, as I could no longer afford to stay in my previous town. The long-term effects of her failure have been profoundly harmful to my life. I write this hoping that others know to just be aware that if Daemie begins to show signs of slow email responses or dragging her feet on deadlines, move on quickly to another attorney. She is nice but she can be unprofessional to the point of harm.

Daemie represented me in an appeal case that did not look promising at all considering that the Court of Appeals in Oregon only hears just a few cases every year and often turns down cases without an opinion. We not only got a hearing, but also an opinion and ultimately won! She kept me well informed... throughout the process and responded to emails promptly. Dont be fooled by her shy persona - she is kind, compassionate and highly intelligent!

Such a wonderful lawyer! Have nothing but positive things to say about her. Besides her being extremely nice and non-judgemental she was able to get my situation fixed in such a very quick amount of time. I would highly recommend her for anyone that is needing a great lawyer. I know if I EVER need... a lawyer again, she will be the first person I call. I truly can't thank her enough.
