I grew up in Stayton, Oregon and graduated from Stayton High School, St. John's College, and Willamette University College of Law.
In law school, I clerked with the Oregon Governor's Senior Policy Advisor for Public Safety and the Oregon Court of Appeals and lobbied for the Oregon Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.
I was also on Willamette's Law Review, received high paper honors in Immigration Law and State and Local Government Law, and volunteered with the Willamette University Public Interest Law Project.
Since law school, I have worked hard defending all types of criminal cases from misemeanors to violent felonies, drug crimes, and sex crimes. I work night and day to ensure the best resolution for my clients, whether that means a negotiated plea or a jury trial.
Although my main focus is criminal defense, I also help people with personal injury claims, car accidents, restraining orders, divorce and custody suits, and appeals and post-convictions.
