When it became necessary to retain an attorney to represent my elderly mother in an estate matter in Florida, I perused a number of attorney referral services. After interviewing several, Cristin quickly rose to the top. She answered all my questions, gave me a no-nonsense price for the services nee...ded and we executed a retainer agreement within 48hours. She was extremely responsive, very knowledgeable and a real pleasure to deal with. Much of the matter was accomplished via e-mail(save for those documents that necessarily needed to be snail-mailed)and this was very convenient as legal proceedings were in Florida, I was in Maryland and my mother in New Jersey. As it sometimes is with elderly clients, technology like e-mail can sometimes prove challenging(as it relates to receiving, opening, signing, returning documents). In those instances where my mother was struggling with the technology, Cristin was more than happy to simply pick up the phone/call her or simply send documents the old fashioned way! A good friend of ours was critically ill and reached out to us for help. She was terminally ill - without a will and all of the other legal protections that should have been in place long ago. Timing was of the essence as it was apparent that our friend's final days were coming much quicker than expe...cted. Within 2 days, after contacting Cristin, she was able to prepare all of the necessary legal papers to allow our friend the peace of mind knowing that all of her wishes would be handled properly after her passing.
