I hired Christy through Truce Law, the law firm that she works with. She helped me through a difficult divorce. The goal behind Truce Law is to avoid contention and to get through the divorce with as little pain, cost, and issues but that sometimes doesn't happen even with the best of intentions. It ...takes 2 people to make a divorce not contentious (or should I say 2 people and 2 lawyers..). Every step of the way I wanted to get through my divorce as quickly as possible and with as little contention as possible, but there were hard limits to what I was willing to compromise specifically time with my children. The other side was aggressive, uncommunicative, and outright hostile right from the start. What's amazing is Christy was able to manage this and somehow end up with an amazing result that is the best for my children. She consistently gave me the best position possible to avoid the aggressive strategies the other side was using, while keeping the end result fair to both of us. The difficult thing about divorce is as a client it is likely the first time you are doing this, and at the same it is one of the most emotional times of your life. So you have to learn how things work while making life altering permanent decisions as you have all these feelings. Christy made this all easy. I recommend Christy without reservation.
