Frustrated client!

Unfair to take retainer fee and not complete case. This attorney was hired to assist myself as a client and has failed to uphold what he claims he could do. Furthermore he advertises that he puts clients and their cases first in which this is not what actually takes place. His office staff is unprofe...ssional and seems to change frequently. There has been four different office staff members in the last four months that have made multiple promises of personal attention to move case along and have failed to do so resulting in frequent staff turnover. Upon hiring Mr. Morris, he stated the case would be over in three to six months. This is untrue because now over a year and the case is unsettled. Mr. Morris does not follow through with each case personally, as he states that he does. He does not return phone calls and when you are face to face with him, he tells you things you want to hear to get you out of his office. This office is very unprofessional, the attorney does not perform what he claims to do, and I would not recommend his services to anyone.

I am sorry that you were dissapointed. I pride myself in helping clients and providing representation with low initial fee retainers. However, in a highly contested case, after a client's initial retainer is used up, a client will receive a bill, which the attorney will expect to be paid. A client need to replenish their retainer for continued representation. An attorney cannot be expected to continue representation when they are not being paid. Your attorney has to be paid for legal work just like anyone would expect to be paid for work they do. I pride myself in helping my clients resolve their cases efficiently and proficiently. Most cases resolve relatively quickly. I hope this clarifies any confusion and I look forward to discussing your case.
