Bad hire

Doesn't return phone calls, regardless of urgency. Doesn't show up for appointments. "Office staff" is constantly turned over. One excuse after another. Hire him 14 months ago. To this point his work product consists of simply filing the dissolution forms. Hiring this man has been one of the worst mi...stakes of my life.

Terrible Communicator,Worse Litigator

I hired Brian for my divorce case,he and his former paralegal(he has had three in 6 months) promised me he could easily handle my case. WRONG.....She was billing me for activities she didn't do(some I provided info for) and when she was working someone else's case...I disputed first bill and she woul...dn't speak to me after that...Today 8 months later I am no better off,got a call from the third paralegal and it came with an email for an OUTRAGEOUS amount after I had paid him almost $6k, Brian is a terrible communicator and bombed at the last hearing(then he calls it a victory)...I have given him considerable time and opportunity to make things correct in my case, but he is too busy chasing :new money", then with today's accounting I see double billings from his first paralegal(fired end of April) and where the other party should have paid....He is absolutely terrible,so much that I am bringing him up for charges with Florida Bar Association Today. I have factual evidence documenting his activities.

I am sorry that you were dissapointed. I pride myself in helping clients and providing representation with low initial fee retainers. However, in a highly contested case, after a client's initial retainer is used up, a client will receive a bill, which the attorney will expect to be paid. A client need to replenish their retainer for continued representation. An attorney cannot be expected to continue representation when they are not being paid. Your attorney has to be paid for legal work just like anyone would expect to be paid for work they do. I pride myself in helping my clients resolve their cases efficiently and proficiently. Most cases resolve relatively quickly. I hope this clarifies any confusion and I look forward to discussing your case.

Excellent lawyer, knowledgeable, would highly recommend!

I've been using Mr. Morris to handle my legal matters for several years. He handled my divorce, and my subsequent foreclosure and bankruptcy cases. His fees were very reasonable compared to other attorneys. He handled my cases personally and resolved them quickly to my satisfaction. He always had... my best interests in mind. He and his staff answered my questions quickly and they were very courteous. I will continue to use him in the future and would highly recommend him for all your legal needs! Thanks, Brian!
