B. Thomas Golden

I contacted Mr Golden on a Tuesday by phone. He returned my call the following day and he requested all pertinent documents be brought to the office. I did so the following day, Thursday and spoke directly with Mr Golden. He said he would review and be back with me on Monday or Tuesday at the latest.... Three weeks later, after many phone calls with messages left with the receptionist and voice mails, I made the decision and requested all paper work be returned to me. I received a letter from him, along with the paperwork, stating I should 'quickly seek alternate legal counsel’. He had the audacity to say 'legal claims of this nature have important timelines and deadlines . . . that can bar recovery if missed'. My disappointment is not that he would not take my case, but that he allowed so much time to elapse before alerting me of his decision. Highly disappointing and unprofessional, to say the least.

After years of trying to stop payment from SS I was told over and over I didnt owe any money. Then out of the blue I was told I owed several thousand. I documented the efforts to stop payments. And was told over and over I didnt owe it. B.Thomas Golden stepped in. We won. Cant thank him enoug...h.

While representing me in an FDCPA lawsuit against a creditor, Mr. Golden was able to very quickly get the previously entered judgement against me vacated with prejudice and put some money in my pocket. Mr Golden Kept me informed and even though the social security process is drawn out he kept in touch and made me feel like I was important. He stayed on top of my medical updates. He took the time to prepare me for court making it a lot less stressful. During the hearing it was easy to see that he ha...d prepared and covered all the things I felt was important.

I haven't had much to do with attorney's up until the last 2 years. One for divorce and then Mr. Golden. I just want to say that Mr. Golden is one of the nicest attorneys I have ever met. He's down to earth.....some attorneys have their heads so high in the air and seem to barely notice you, but Mr....Golden was right at my level. He explained everything, asked if I understood and if I had any questions. If I had questions, he answered them in my language and used terms I could understand. He got back with me if I called, even on weekends. He was very good about answering my emails as well. I would DEFINITELY recommend Mr. Golden to anyone of my friends without hesitation.
