Where should I start? I have been in and out of family court in California and Arizona since 2017 and almost every year thereafter. I came across Wendy's YouTube channel in 2017 and her videos helped me understand the Courts' processes, the legal jargon, and to have patience. I wished she had been my... attorney from the beginning. After losing my family attorney when she moved to another firm, I was left to handle my case as a Pro Se for a couple of years and I was successful thanks to Wendy's videos, this year, I had the opportunity to have Wendy in my case. For the first time I felt peace. The opposing counsel's demeanor in the case changed dramatically when Wendy came on-board. We were successful in modifying parenting time in Mediation. I have much respect for Wendy’s professionalism, ethics, knowledge, and experience. Her staff is courteous and professional. Communications are clear. I am kept informed of everything that is happening. Most importantly, I have a family attorney I can trust and who has the best interest of my daughter at heart, and that, is gold in my book. Needless to say, she will be in our case until my daughter turns 18.

When I was looking for an attorney to represent me in family court I got to admit I was a bit nervous and anxious only because I knew my case wasn't going to be easy, so I knew I had to get someone that was empathetic, showed interest in my case, someone who was knowledgeable, passionate, but still a...ggressive when needed to be and that was exactly what I found with Wendy. Before we can reach the hearing the mother of my children passed away unexpectedly, this turned mine and my children's whole world upside down as I never imagined this happening like it did, it was an unexpected circumstance that changed the status of my case and the life of me and my children. Despite some differences me and the mother of my children had this was not the outcome I wanted and was in shock and disbelief, I was completely torn apart with the whole situation. Wendy took time to call me as soon as she found out to give me her condolences and showed the utmost care and support as well as her staff. With much compassion and understanding they helped me through the sudden changes and got me through my entire case. Although I wish things could have ended differently and the mother of my children was still here, Wendy and her staff's hard work will not go unnoticed. Before I had Wendy I had a very unfair trial My judge at the time was George Foster Jr who shouldn't even had the right to be a judge from the start every legal action every thing I did was that was in accordance to Arizona law and what was right this judge shut down and kept throwing the book at me.... the hurdles alone i had to go through. When I finally was able to hire Wendy so much damage so much work was there i put down a 4500 dollar retainer Wendy and her office literally helped conserve every dollar amount the mother of my child wasn't a simple case either. in the court room Wendy was so profound and the way her in the judge spoke to one another even the judges staff was as if they knew Wendy there whole life and had just the up most respect. I had Wendy for a little over a year things did get pricey towards the end, but that was because of a lot of stupid things that shouldn't of gone on and even then Wendy and her staff conserved just as much. in Arizona anytime one has had a trial usually doesn't get anything changed until its been at least 2years after Wendy got that change in the year and some months i had Wendy and her staff I went from supervised visits paying $120 a week on top of child support which was $560.00 to now Ive had a new court date already a new trial all within a 3month period. my child support now is $160.00 a month. and I have my child majority of the time. Wendy and her staff helped me through my lowest and they coached me when I was wrong and I'm man enough to admit when I was wrong. this is the attorney you want in your corner her and the staff she has there amazing almost as if your family and they treat you as such. I seriously cant say one bad thing I have nothing. if the price she gives you seems steep this is the words she gave me and its the best advice one can give "how much is it worth to fight for whats right for your kid" any good parent knows that blood sweat and tears is what we would give to fight for our kids. this attorney her staff they do just that.

I first used Google to find a family lawyer and the Hernandez Family Law firm came up. I met with Wendy for an initial consultation and hired the firm after the interview (a lot of questions on their experience). I was hoping all my items could be settled without a trial but the other side was having... none of that. The advice and service that was received was in my opinion second to none. Their responses to questions were answered in a timely manner. The time spent on my case was reasonable for what was needed, (not trying to add time just for billing reasons). During trial Wendy was straight to the point in her questions on both sides and did not back down on the hard questions that needed to be asked. Her advice was sound, performance was strong, not flawed and in the end the court ruled in a fair settlement for my side. I would absolutely recommend the firm and her services to anyone needing a family attorney. If in the future if I need more help on my case I will not hesitate to contact her firm.
