I was nearing the end of my H1 visa (6 years limit). Attorney Stepanova completed a detailed review of my case and eligibility and provided a realistic overview. She determined that the total period of time remaining on H1B visa was insufficient to complete the elaborate paper work and file for an I-140 petition (EB1 category). Based on her sound legal advice I decided to file for O-1 visa instead. Attorney Stepanova and Debbie Meekins guided and assisted me with all the paper work and my O-1 visa was filed by my University and successfully approved. Subsequently, the office of Attorney Stepanova filed my EB1-I-140 petition which was also successfully approved. I would like to share my experience working with Attorney Anna Stepanova and her team at Murthy in assisting me in the filing of my GC petition via the EB1 Extraordinary Ability category in July 2015. Prior to having a consultation with Attorney Anna, I did consult with a few other firms which provid...ed me with free consultations. Even though these firms assured me that my case had a very high chance of approval, I did not feel comfortable with their repeated emphasis on the fact that if by any chance my application fails they will refund the attorney fee. It seemed to me like they were trying to market their services rather than discuss more about my case and the procedures. During my first consultation with Attorney Anna, she was very patient in explaining to me the whole EB1 EA selection process, which criteria I fit in, and also suggested that my case would be even more strong if I collect evidence for a couple of other criteria as well. She also took time to address my concerns, and overall it was a very meaningful 20 minute discussion which gave me much confidence in the whole process. After a couple of weeks, I scheduled another consultation with her and she was gracious enough to tell me that I need not have paid again for it since I was discussing on the same case. During the process of collecting evidence for the petition letter, I was highly pleased with her (and her team's) quick responses to my queries and the very meticulously written petition letter. There is a general consensus out that premium processing approach had more chances of failure than regular processing. But I wanted to go for premium processing and Attorney Anna assured me that in her years of experience she has not seen such a bias between premium and regular processing. I proceeded with it and I was so happy to get the GC approval within 2 weeks of submission! Having worked closely with Attorney Anna, I can confidently state that she is very knowledgeable, experienced, and professional. I would gladly recommend her and her team to anyone looking for filing GC.

I had an excellent experience working with Anna Stepanova. She assisted me with my green card case in EB1 Extraordinary Ability in 2005. She was very thorough and worked with me very closely from start to finish. She provided an excellent presentation of all the supporting evidence in a profession...al manner. She always kept me apprised of what was going on with my case and responded to all of my questions and requests timely explaining what to expect at every step in the process. i had a consultation with Ms. Stepanova. She was the very first attorney we approached to discuss the possibility of applying for GC in EB1 Outstanding Researcher category. The consultation fee was $200 for 20 minutes! We didn't know how unreasonable this was until we started meeting with other lawye...rs after we met with her. Ms. Stepanova took all of 10 minutes to tell us that our case was hopeless! She was in a hurry to leave after that and the receptionist stepped in exactly 20 minutes later to say that 'her next client is waiting'. She didn't even indulge our views because she already made up her mind that taking up our case will not guarantee results. We were actually giving her more information about the process and she kept shooting us down before hearing us out. It was very clear that she is extremely new to this and does not have enough knowledge about immigration. Being the first lawyer we approached, it is an understatement to say that we were extremely demoralized and lost confidence until we met our current attorney. Our current attorney gave us free 1 hour consultation (there were other lawyers who did the same or charged less than $200 for 1 hour session) and was extremely encouraging while discussing the reality of our case. I am very glad to inform that we got our Green card approved! Thank God we did not trust Ms. Stepanova's judgement. Please approach someone with more experience in immigration because Ms. Stepanova sorely lacks experience in this field while overcharging the clients.
