I was a client of Attorney Papa and feel obligated to let potential clients know upfront that I had a very negative experience with this man for the following reasons; #1 very poor communication skills with me, leaving me feeling completely in the dark about what was going on with my case #2 very d...ifficult to contact, he would ignore emails, phone calls and texts for weeks at a time with no explanation as to why #3 missed important deadlines #4 when finally was able to reach him by phone, Papa would be condescending, change subject or cut me off.... #4 Papa did not follow the pertinent strategies we agreed upon, making our case impossible to win #5 a longer than appropriate delay in procuring a hearing date due to leaves of absences and lastly #6 an incompetent presentation at our hearing including not presenting judge with our expert testimony (core to us winning our case)

I highly recommend Angelo to anyone looking for legal representation, he went above and beyond for me and my children in a custody battle even went to Florida with me to fight there and never disappointed me. He is very compassionate about his job and is truly there to help you! I will forever be tha...nkful for him and his team and will be represented by him for anything!

I hired Attorney Papa in 2003 to get custody of my son from his mother who is and was a drug addict. To get custody of a child almost never happened back then unless it is something critical. (about 10 years ago), also a lot is who you know. The courts didn’t think overdosing, being life flighted,... never being around, always leaving him with her mother or me was critical to his upbringing. Attorney Papa filed for Custody. We had conferences, court dates, motions, contempts, delays and postponements, by both parties, with all evidence and testimony presented by Attorney Papa. Anyone who thinks the process is cut and dry does not know how the court system works and won’t until you’re involved in it. A lawyer can only do so much and the rest is up to, “the Judge or the Master.” It took almost 6 years for them to realize what the “best interest” for my son was and I got custody. He is a straight A student, plays sports and is a well-adjusted boy. It’s easy to blame the attorney when things don’t go right and they rule against you. After reading some negative posts on here about Attorney Papa, I had to post something because it’s easy to blame the attorney or say you got ripped you off or overcharged. I checked around and prices varied, you get what you pay for, I knew up front what I was paying for and what he was going to do for me. I would definitely recommend Attorney Papa to anyone who asks or needs an attorney, and I would hire him again if I’d ever need one.

Attorney Angelo A Papa Jr represented the residents of a local mobile home park and protected their basic rights to the use of water. Attorney Papa did this without taking any money from any of the residents who resided in the mobile home park. Government agencies who fined this landlord (slumlord)... did not carry through and did not protect the tenants and their rights. This Landlord rationed the water, shut it off on weekends, holidays, and when children were off from school so water could not be used and did this without any prior notification to the tenants. When questioned, the Landlord stated that water was a privilege not a right. Water, sewage and garbage were all included in the monthly lot rent. The lease did not say anything about water being a privilege. If the Landlord did not like you, he would knock on the door and give you five minutes to pack up and get out. Then he would sell or rent your home. Nobody could stop him until Attorney Papa took the case. Attorney Papa represented any tenant in the mobile home park that accept his help, current and those who had been harmed by this Landlord and lost their home, many who were homeless. Attorney Papa stayed with us through the local, state and federal bankruptcy court never charging a dime for his time. At one point, Attorney Papa was called late at night and advised that we were a target to have our home destroyed . . . the Landlord had hired people to harm us and to burn us out . . .Attorney Papa made sure we were safe and involved the proper authorities to make sure not only my family was safe . . .but the other families in the mobile home park would be safe as well. The Government agencies that could have put a stop to this Landlord did nothing . . . Attorney Papa took time from his family and thriving practice and risked it all . . . to make sure that my family and all the families in this mobile home park were safe and treated decently. As a result of Attorney Papa's representation, the mobile home park was taken from this Landlord (subsequently this slumlord has lost other properties in which he was doing similar injustices), the property has ample clean water, new roads, new lots, and has more units. The mobile home park is doing well and is a beautiful park. This would have never happened without Attorney Angelo Papa. Attorney Papa never gave up. When the Landlord saw that things weren't going well for him locally, he (the Landlord) tried to go Federal. Attorney Papa never gave up and kept encouraging the rest of us to keep fighting and moving forward. . .even though he wasn't getting paid and had a thriving practice. Attorney Papa did what Government agencies should have done, protected the tenants rights and locked up the Landlord. Eventually, this Slumlord lost this property and other properties and was prevented from hurting other people.
