Alex G. Nicely

My 18 year-old son was charged with careless and and reckless driving due to excessive speed on I-40 in Pender County. We live in Wake County and I needed to find legal representation for the hearing in Burgaw. Alex was referred to me by a friend who is one of the top attorneys in NC who was deeply... impressed with Alex when the two were on opposite sides of a criminal case. Alex was was every thing my friend advertised — smart, personable and extremely talented with a great sense of humor. I would highly recommend Alex to any folks needing legal representation in the Wilmington area. My son's careless and reckless charge was dropped and the speeding charge was lowered to a level that significantly reduces the amount of insurance points and probably prevents a large increase in my premiums. Alex's talents coupled with his knowledge of the legal system that comes from his experience as a public prosecutor make him a great attorney.

With a University specific issue Alex handled my case extremely well. He was very thorough with his preparations and did not leave a potential stone unturned. I met with him throughout the process in person as well as communicated effectively through text as well, which was dope. I must say Mr. Nicely was kind prompt and very knowledgeable of the law. No one wants to be in need of a lawyer but Alex made the process much easier to handle. In a matter of only three or four phone calls Alex took care of my case without me even having to go into court and got my charge dismissed. On my court date he talked with the officers handling my case and was ab...le to stand his ground. He has a lot of knowledge of his area's court systems and I was also given a very fair price for his services. I highly recommend employing Mr. Nicely, very cool dude and he knows what he is doing.
