My fiancé hired Charles Peruto for me on a case in Philadelphia where I was accused of aggravated assault. The girl was claiming that I severely beat her, and my previous lawyer told me that I was going to have to serve two years in prison! There was no way that I can let that happen, and when it all... came down to it, Mr. Peruto was absolutely marvelous getting everything thrown out except simple assault, mutual combat. I hired Charles Peruto, Jr., and every time there was a hearing, Richard DeSipio came in his place. Although Rich was quite capable, we paid good money for Mr. Peruto, and he never came. It was always explained to us that come time for the trial, he would be there personally. I must admit, that when ...it was time for the trial, Mr. Peruto not only showed up, but blew everyone away! When he was in the courtroom, no one else got a word in, and he walked me out of there as promised!
