Aarti Bhaga

I am beyond grateful for finding my attorney Aarti Bhaga with Stewart Law Group. She has been attentive, supportive, encouraging and most of all she’s a brilliant lawyer. At this point, my attorney has assisted with my filing for divorce, filing for an order of protection, preparing for court for a contested order of protection, and we recently participated in a temporary orders hearing. I love my daughter more than anything or anybody in the universe. She has been #1 in my eye and my heart since the day she was born. I would do absolutely anything for my baby girl. But things got really ugly after I filed for divorce… My ex immediately took my daughter and began hurling accusatio...ns and allegations at me left and right. A Mother can throw up legal road blocks very easily by simply alleging falsehoods. It is then up to the Father to prove to the Court that Mother’s accusations are illegitimate. I was up against an order of protection, allegations of domestic violence, allegations of mental illness, allegations of alcohol abuse, and allegations of substance abuse. My ex also created falsified evidence and distributed this falsified evidence to the Court, the Court Appointed Advisor, our families, and everybody in our social network. She was also looking to bankrupt me by demanding alimony and child support of thousands per month. I missed my daughter like crazy. All I wanted to do was be a Daddy again, but I felt like the world was against me. I finally fired my first attorney because he lacked the critical thinking skills and legal creativity and was just looking to rack up billable hours. To be honest, I was very skeptical about hiring a woman because of how awful, disgusting, and humiliating my ex-wife’s propaganda was. I was so ashamed to be accused of such vile and reprehensible things. The first time I interviewed Aarti, I could barely look her in the eye due to shame while I told everything I was up against and what my ex was saying about me. Aarti was extraordinarily professional, non-judgmental, empathetic, practical, objective, and realistic in her initial evaluation of my case. Almost every time she did this, I was grateful that she didn’t heed my request. It was clear to me that she was 110% in my corner. I knew I had an attorney who would fight to the death (metaphorically speaking) for my parental rights as the Father of an angel. Then I had the opportunity to see her perform in the courtroom during Trial. My instructions to her were to go into the courtroom to ‘kill, take no prisoners, and leave none alive.’ It was awestriking to watch her genius at work. She was professional and followed courtroom etiquette and all, but underneath her elegance, grace, sophistication, and professionalism she was clearly out for blood. She wasn’t just a fish in water, she was a great white shark fighting an onslaught of barracudas. She was a honey badger battling a cobra. SHE WON! My ex-wife didn’t get away with her lies or falsified evidence. I did not have to pay alimony. Most importantly, I got my baby girl back. I will be eternally grateful to Aarti for the rest of my life, and I will definitely be a client of hers for the rest of my life. FATHERS: The attorney you hire DOES MATTER!!
