I take great pride in zeaoulously representing individuals who have been accused of criminal wrongdoing. Standing up on behalf of Alaskans against the police, the prosecuting authorities, and the government is why I became a lawyer, and is the single most rewarding aspect of my career.
I was born and raised in Alaska, and am familiar with the unique challenges and opportunities our great state has to offer.
While no attorney can promise you a particular outcome, I make the same promise to all of my clients: I will zealously and aggressively represent you to the best of my ability, communicate with you and thoroughly explain your options, and work with you in pursuit of the best possible outcome to your case.

Outstanding
Mr. Christie was kind, respectful and very well informed. He helped me get out of a false implication in a DV case with minimum stress. I would strongly recommend him.
Domestic violence cases are often very tough cases to defend against because it is usually just one person's word against our client's. Worse, convictions for domestic violence convictions can result not just in significant jail time and fines, but also loss of the right to use or possess firearms due to federal law. This is a really big deal for many of our clients, and we fought hard on behalf of this client to get him a just result. No domestic violence conviction, no jail, nno fine, and no restriction on his right to use and possess firearms made our client very happy, and we were so happy to play a significant role in making this a reality for our clientnn. A great outcome.

Recommendation for James Christie of Tetlow Christie LLC
I highly recommend the services of Tetlow Chrisite LLC. Mr. Christie was professional, knowledgeable and worked hard to help me with my case. He is very well respected by his peers and works creatively to help solve problems. Mr. Christie goes the extra mile to help his clients. Mr. Christie made sur...
This was a tough case: Our client was charged with DUI in downtown Anchorage after running a red light, but after extensive investigation and consultation with our expert witness, we eventually gathered enough evidence to cast serious and reasonable doubt on the prosecution's case. Presenting our research and our expert's opinion to the prosecutor ahead of trial was a risky move, but it paid off! Instead of a criminal DUI conviction, we convinced the prosecutor to drop the charge down to a careless driving, which is only a driving infraction, not a crime. Client wound up only with a small fine, and her case was over and she got her license back! Great outcome.

Lawyers can be compassionate
Working with Mr. Christie was very helpful for us during a tough time in our lives. He sat down with us and explained the legal parameters of our case, followed up on a regular basis regarding our case, and was always available via phone or in-office meetings to go over any of the questions that we ...
Being charged with any impropriety involving children is tough; being accused of sexual misconduct with children is about as serious as any crime in Alaska, and the potential penalties are absolutely horrendous. But beyond the potential jail and fines, the collateral consequences of a child abuse conviction are almost as bad, if not worse. In this case, a thorough investigation performed under our direction revealed no credible evidence of any wrong doing by our client, and the state was eventually convinced to not even file charges against our client, who now has his freedom, his reputation, and his entire life to look forward to. A great outcome.

Most of our clients enter the criminal justice system as novices with absolutely no experience in this arena. This experience terrifies most people, and I take great pride in helping my clients navigate their way through the criminal justice systems as painlessly and effectively as possible. A great outcome.
