I take great pride in zeaoulously representing individuals who have been accused of criminal wrongdoing. Standing up on behalf of Alaskans against the police, the prosecuting authorities, and the government is why I became a lawyer, and is the single most rewarding aspect of my career.
I was born and raised in Alaska, and am familiar with the unique challenges and opportunities our great state has to offer.
While no attorney can promise you a particular outcome, I make the same promise to all of my clients: I will zealously and aggressively represent you to the best of my ability, communicate with you and thoroughly explain your options, and work with you in pursuit of the best possible outcome to your case.

Attorney client relationships are the key to victory
I was recently acquitted for murder 1, two murder 2, and tampering. James was not only my attorney during this time he was my friend and confidante. He never withheld anything from me and included me in all decision making acting as a true advocate and mouthpiece for me as his client. I write this as...
If I had to pick only one case to represent my work as an attorney and the indescribable sense of satisfaction I experience when I represent my clients, this would definitely be the case. Facing life in prison after being accused of murder at the sports authority parking lot in 2009, I went into this case convinced that my client was absolutely innocent and being wrongfully accused of the most serious crimes we have in our justice system. A thorough and exhaustive investigation was performed under our supervision, which revealed to us that our client wasn't a criminal in this situation, he was truly a victim. His victimization was continued by an incompetent investigation by APD, who only looked for any evidence that matched their theory of the case, and utterly ignored ample evidence that my client wasn't even armed when he arrived at the Sports Authoriy that fateful day. My client and I spent many months preparing his case for trial, and spent 8 long weeks sitting next to each other at the murder trial last summer. Our hard work eventually paid off: client was found not guily of every charge by the jury, and he is a free man now with his name and reputation restored. Nothing could make me happier. A very good outcome.

James played a MAJOR part in the acquittal of three young men, one being my son
I first met James Christie in April 2012. He was 1 of 3 attorneys for 3 men accused of 1st degree murder. One of these young men was my son. Although James was not representing my son directly, I felt that throughout the trial all three attorneys stood united in their stand to bring justice for a...
