Michael Moberly handles litigation cases statewide, both criminal and civil. Presently, his caseload is primarily criminal, emphasizing serious felonies (both state and federal) and federal environmental and white collar crime. Prior to private practice, he was a felony trial attorney and misdemeanor supervisor at the Anchorage office of the Alaska Public Defender Agency.
Having been raised in Alaska, he always planned on returning to Alaska. Mike worked at Heller Ehrman White & McAuliffe (now Stoel Rives) in their Anchorage office, and clerked at the U.S. District Court for Alaska for two years after graduation from law school. Prior to and during law school he worked for Senator Ted Stevens in Washington, D.C., the Pacific States Marine Fisheries Commission, the National Marine Fisheries Service and Alaska Department of Fish & Game. He lives in Anchorage with his wife Rebecca Hozubin and their daughter.

"I endorse Michael Moberly without reservation. I have worked with Mike on a number of cases since I began practicing in 2009. As an Assistant District Attorney, I litigated against Mike in cases ranging from misdemeanor assault to felony burglary. Since leaving the DA's Office in 2013, Mike and I have worked together on a variety of cases - both criminal and civil. Mike's expertise and professionalism are second to none. Mike works hard to ensure his clients are well represented. Simply put, you would be hard pressed to find a better attorney in Anchorage to defend you."
