Biography
Raised in Walla Walla, Washington, Matthew Johnson is a professional and skilled attorney and firm manager who takes pride in helping bring people peace of mind that their affairs are in order. He got into the legal industry to work more with his mind than his back and help people solve difficult problems.
Matt began practicing law in Dayton, Washington, and soon became a partner with Gravis Law. His practice has spanned numerous practice areas including real property, agricultural law, estate planning, probate and estate administration, business law, civil litigation, civil appeals, criminal defense, criminal prosecution, municipal law, and family law.
In recent years, his primary practice focuses are estate planning and probate, real property, agricultural law, and business law. Matt also leads Gravis Law’s estate planning, probate, and estate administration group. His proudest professional accomplishment has been helping build Gravis Law into what it is today.
In his spare time, Matt enjoys spending time with his children, skiing, motorcycle riding, fishing, golfing, hunting, coaching, and participating in outdoor activities. He also volunteers in order to invest in his local community. Currently, he serves as President of the Columbia County Fair Board, a member of the Waitsburg Masonic Lodge, and a former member of Lions Club, Kiwanis, and Rotary.
