Peter Donald Dahlin

Peter is known for being abusive, and yelling at his clients. He went out of his way to misrepresent me. He wrote one statement, and went to court twice, and said his retainer was used up, at $100/hr. He gave a price for $1,000 revising the court commissioner on Thursday, and by Monday, 4 days later..., it had doubled to $2,000. He then came down to $1,300. He yelled at me a few times, and after watching him actually loss his temper, and yell at the judge, why would I bring him back, after his display? Talking to other attorneys in Spokane, they've seen this for 40 years now, saying, "Peter's not so bad when they have his meds right." I could be wrong, but I think he's got some personal issues, or his meds are conflicting with his drinking. He was physically shaking when we left the courtroom. What an embarrassment for $2500. That's what a Craigslist lawyer will get you, huh? Another attorney reported that one time in court, he yelled at the other lawyer saying, "You're nothing but a fat pig!!" Worst waste of money in my life.

I would've given him a negative rating had the option been available. My experience was " Ok" in the beginning, but quickly turned in to a nightmare. The person whom I chose to help me ended up being someone who was capable of turning to the tactics of the person I was trying to untangle my life with.... Cannot be trusted... I had to listen to him go on and on about his personal life and issues, as if that wasn't bad enough, he freakin' billed me for that time! Do your research, yes he has a reputation...it isn't a good reputation. May be a "bulldog" in the courtroom (wasn't for me)but in the end, would you want an attorney like that to turn on you? Very questionable ethics and not trustworthy when it comes to fees and money. Save yourself the agony...

fought for 3 years and wasn't till got this Attoney did I start winning because he don't roll over and will let the judge know they cannot do something and is willing to file against a judge if they break rules, infact he filed against the judge that took my rights with out due process previously an...d she wasn't allowed to judge my cases while he was my attorney. I won custody and that's not easy for a male in Washington.

Save your money!! This guy failed to give me my court date and calls me at 8:30 in the morning to tell me we have court. There's a reason this attorney is half the price of the others. Look at his past before hiring. The courts know of him very well and not in a good way. He personally called me to t...ell me to F off after I fired him. It's all he said then hung up. I even have it recorded. Then falsely billed me taking my whole retainer. Called me to meet with him very early in the morning to sign documents then I show up and he has the wrong ones. He has a horrible memory and will have you meet with him 2 or 3 times to discuss the same thing. Then in court don't even remember details about your case.

I would recommend not even giving this guy a chance in a consultation!! there is a very good reason he's only able to do Craigslist adds trying to seek work and not working with anyone else. My consultation with him lasted only about 15 minutes because he was simply not in a good mood and took it out... on a possible new client by screaming at me!! Every suggestion I tried to add about my own court case to him he refused to even acknowledge!! And considering that's the entire point of hiring an attorney I guess I'm just a little lost as to what he could have possibly helped me with... Don't waste your time or money.
