Peter David Svennungsen

My divorce attorney hired Mr. Svennungsen's office as a third party specialist solely for the purpose of drafting a single document for my divorce pertaining to the division of military retired pay. Mr. Svennungsen's office required a $2,500 retainer for this. I provided them with an initial draft of... the document, which they completely disregarded and instead produced a document that was all wrong and we could not use. I tried to request the document be corrected, but my ex-wife's attorneys were able to draft an adequate version of the document before we ever heard anything back from Mr. Svennungsen and my divorce was finalized. When I tried to have my attorneys recuperate any of the unused retainer funds from Mr. Svennungsen's office, since they had only produced a single incorrect and unusable product, they said all $2,500 of the retainer funds had been used, and there was nothing to refund. Absolutely unacceptable to pay $2,500 for an incorrect and unusable product that took zero input from the client.
