Hired to settle divorce. Did not ask for any discovery or any thing just get all the discovery and all that the ex's attorney wants. So can sent it to her attorney. Did not make suggestion on what way the best way to solve. Blow through the $2500 retainer in about two months. Then if you emailed to ...know what was going on or what steps to get this solved. You would get little to no advise but three paragraphs on your bill is due. He had no advice on how to solve case. The ex's attorney would send temporary orders she wanted to file on stuff she already had so would spend 700 or more to respond to this type of stuff then it never got filed just spent money. So where was Matt's advise or how to solve this? He never once. said I think we need to do this to get solved. Just run up the bill. I came up with a settlement offer sent to Matt it was wrote up not what I sent or talk to paralegal. Three to four points of offer not in settlement. Got counter offer back I had to spend two day texting and calling to get the offer. Did he give advise or his thought or how we should go forward. NO NO just you have no money in your account so pay or he will withdraw. This was the biggest waste of money over 6000 to get nothing solved or done. Then had to call and fight to get my file back. If you want attorney that is like a marshmellow and does not care about your case or give you advise on what to get it solved. Then you should by means hire Matt. The best advise I got was from a person working in the court system was to get a new attorney. So now am getting case solved. The day I fired Matt was the best day of dealing with him. But he do the talk but can't do the walk. So all talk no action.
