I am not happy with my divorce mediation. Brian never asked me what my issues were, rather I was presented with a spreadsheet that the opposing party generated. The numbers were not accurate, lacked all information, and did not divided all the assets fairly. The were skewed in the favor of the opposi...ng party. Additionally, he spent most of his time with the opposing party. Since this was a court ordered mediation I feel neither the court or my case was treated fairly or in good faith. It appeared rigged from the beginning. I spent hard earned money for nothing in return. I will never step foot in his office again.

Brian Meck is a consummate professional who was highly recommended to me during my difficult divorce. I had started out with another attorney that was not a good match; I was skeptical and frustrated but I knew I needed help and could not do it alone. I was also dealing with other very stressful issu...es in my life at that time and I was an emotional wreck. At the first hearing Brian represented me at I was impressed by his preparedness and by the accuracy of the recitation he gave of the facts; he did not falter from that pattern in the year he spent on my case. Brian was always gracious and courteous in his presentations, and I have witnessed him argue many other cases in the same manner. I have observed other male attorneys in this county completely defame women they oppose in court and Brian does not do that no matter who is on the other side. His style is one of reasonableness and courtesy and I believe that allows the judges to see his cases more favorably toward his clients. He advocated for me as a woman continuously and then negotiated a very fair settlement so I could avoid trial. Brian gives realistic advice and I was able to trust his judgment completely. It is my understanding that he is doing a lot of family law mediation work now (as the mediator), and if you are able to get him to still take your case as the attorney then you will be able to count yourself lucky. I highly recommend Brian for any of your family law needs.
