I hired this lawyer over the phone while I was out of state for a Divorce/Child custody case. In one month, he never called me, messaged me or tried to contact me. I was unable contact him due to my job being so remote. In fact! He never sent me a receipt for my payment either.. He also made claims o...f having done work on my case without showing me what he had done or not done. And to date, he has not paid me a dime of my retainer fee. He also did not like that I reminded him that I paid him to work for me.. Not the other way around..He quit on the spot saying he could not work for me... If he accepted my money for a service. Then he should either do the work or give back the money in full the moment he choose to quit working for me. Then I could hire another lawyer to continue my case.. As it is, I have to now wait for him to pay me leaving my child at risk.. He wanted his money fast and up front. I want the same respect. For me! At the very least, his actions are unethical and lack integrity.
