Ruth Esther Esparza

Ruth Esparza is an experienced attorney in Wenatchee Washington. Ruth's mission is to empower her clients, protect their rights, and acheive fair results.  She attended Wenatchee Valley College earing her Associates of Arts Degree in 2000. She graduated from Gonzaga University with a Political Science Degree in 2002. At Gonzaga University School of Law, Ruth earned a Juris Doctorate Degree in 2005. 

Ruth is also a City of Wenatchee Councilmember. As a city councilmember Ruth actively serves on the following boards: Downtown Association, Tourism Promotion Area, and Wenatchee Valley Chamber of Commerce. She also participates in various other boards and committees, which work on issues in her community. Ruth has previously served on the Wenatchee Community Center Board and the Volunteer Attorney Services Board. Having worked in a wide variety of boards for many years, Ruth’s experience allows her to bring a broad perspective for decisions affecting our entire community. She also understands the importance of citizen involvement and makes herself available with an open mind to questions and concerns.

Having lived in Wenatchee for the last 33 years, Ruth’s priority on the Wenatchee City Council is to maintain financial security and safeguard the small town values of this community, as we look towards the future. Population growth has brought challenges to the City of Wenatchee. Ruth is prioritizing housing development and has been working diligently with community stakeholders to incentivize housing development and to find solutions for better land use.

In 2018, Ruth began her own solo law practice Esparza Law, PLLC. Ruth's practice is with civil litigation including family, immigration, property rights, wills and probate. Ruth is also a Guardian Ad Litem for the State of Washington.
