Biography
Steve was born in Ohio and raised in Orange County, California. He attended Orange Coast College before transferring to the University of Colorado, Boulder, where he majored in history. After a few years working in the family business he enrolled in law school at Western State University. He has passed both the California and Washington bars on his first attempt and has been in high demand as an instructor for computer-aided Legal research.
In 2003 Steve moved to Vancouver, Washington where he could enjoy a more relaxed lifestyle and enjoy all the beauty and variety that the Northwest has to offer. Later that year he established Grapevine Legal and Financial, LLC, which combined both his legal and mortgage broker practices.
Among his many interests are hiking, cycling, sailing, scuba diving, wine tasting, cooking, and reading. Steve is very active with his local community and is close with his family and life-long friends. His clients appreciate his attentiveness and professionalism, as well as his relaxed style and sincerity.

Worst Service Ever
I have used Steve, and this was by far the worst service I have ever received. He never followed through, always changed his mind on what we needed. Replied last March 03, 2020This is all factually incorrect. I did not 'cancel' them -- I am required to withdraw as their attorney if I have no confidence that the information they were providing me was correct. The documents needed for their legal proceeding were nearly complete so I did not take all of their money -- I promptly refunded the unused portion of the fee and, at additional expense, paid for the overnight delivery of their refund check. Lastly, this was the 2nd time they hired me after a prior representation that lasted 3 years.
