Jeff Kurt Petersen

I am facing a serious surgery and it was important to me that my affairs be in order, Mr. Petersen was recommended to me by one of my most successful friends. I contacted his office and explained my situation. Beth juggled the schedule to get an early appointment for me and sent the necessary work... papers to me with the caveat that I had to do my work so they could do theirs. I liked the business like approach that was straight forward but pleasant. This was a Monday and my appointment was on the Friday of the same week. Jeff conducted a very focused meeting and explained options clearly. Took detailed notes and concluded in an hour. He then asked me about my priorities in terms of what I wanted to provide for my children and grandchildren. Based on that input he made recommendations of possible modifications to the worksheet information that would help me achieve my “soft” priorities. I told him about my limited turnaround time and he said he would get it done in time. I would note that there was no additional charge for this. In my opinion, I would recommend Jeff and his team to anyone looking for a knowledgeable attorney who wants to produce a product that meets your priorities as best as can be. He is EXCELLENT. Bill

We worked with Jeff's assistant ahead of time to prepare our estate planning worksheets ahead of our meeting with Jeff, and were always greeted in polite and responsive manner through that process. For our actual appointment, we arrived a few minutes ahead of our scheduled time at his satellite offi...ce in Vancouver. We waited in the lobby for 35 minutes past the scheduled time, only to find out from the shared receptionist that Jeff was with another client and had actually walked by us multiple times without ever acknowledging us. Having a busy schedule, we ended up having to leave without ever getting a chance to meet with Jeff.

During one on the most difficult times in my life, a co-worker recommended I contact Jeff regarding our divorce proceeding. Jeff met with me, if I remember right for free, and quickly earned my trust. Jeff is a kind, considerate man who has a wealth of knowledge relating to the area of divorce. W...e meet with Jeff just a few times and agreed to a settlement that was fair to both of us. Jeff was instrumental in us getting there. Jeff has great people skills, and always made time for me to answer any question or concern I had, even if I did not have an appointment. I also had a great experience with his administration staff. They were always kind, professional and helpful. I would highly recommend Jeff Peterson to anyone considering resolving a divorce, if the two parties think they can agree to somewhat of a compromise.
