Personal and Professional

I was extremely weary about hiring a lawyer at first, I was scared. When I first met Shirley I was so nervous I felt like a child. She was kind and gentle. She talked me through my whole case, and she was honest with me. She never made me feel stupid or gave me false hope. She has a way of working wi...th people and honestly working miracles. I had an extremely sticky case but she took it and made a terrible situation better. I am thankful I hired her, not only for her help in resolving my case but also for the assurance that lawyers aren't so scary, I urge anyone who is thinking about hiring or meeting Shirley to do so, because in the end you will be missing out if you don't.

I would see her again to settle other claims

Shirley is very good at her job. I saw her for a car accident and she took the load off my shoulders and settled my claim and took care of my needs. Thank you Shirley. Also she is direct and to the point. She tells you how it is, not rude but direct.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
