Adoption

Sarah Beth was awesome. We had a not so straight forward adoption through the state that Sarah Beth facilitated perfectly. It took over 6 months and she hung in there with us the whole time. Wonderful to work with.

Professional and helpful

Sarah was able to schedule to meet me right away. She was professional but a realist when it came to my situation which helped me in making a choice of whether to hire her. She went out of her way to find my significant other an attorney as well. In the end my experience working with Sarah was comfor...table and excellent.

Professional, Knowledgeable, Ethical, Helpful and Caring!

About three months back I hired Sarah Beth to help me handle a particularly difficult collections agency that I was having a lot trouble dealing with. I had been trying to reinstate my suspended license to fulfill a deal with the local county court. Unfortunately, I owed said collections agency an... unknown sum of money due to delinquent court fines from some time back, and had to take care of the fines before the Department of Licensing would allow for reinstatement. Over the course of a few weeks I had contacted the collections agency by phone as well as a handful of times by email, and although I had requested a statement of my balance on multiple occasions, I never received anything back from them. Instead, the only feedback I could get was essentially that I just needed to pay them what they said I owed, and only a verbal confirmation of the total amount. I was told that they weren't able to negotiate court fines, and when I tried to inquire as to the name of the person I was talking to, or if I could speak to a supervisor, I was informed that anyone there could help me and that I needed to just start a payment plan with them to rectify the situation. I really felt like they weren't taking me at all seriously, and were willing to play a waiting game in the hopes that I'd just give up and fork over some money. As soon as I hired Sarah Beth, she and her staff got right to work contacting the collections agency and attempting to negotiate with them. Amazingly, they still gave her a good bit of run-around as well as a few misleading assertions, but it wasn't long before she and her dedicated staff were able to get a concrete statement of what was owed. The numbers seemed unnecessarily high, and the interest and extra fees were not explained. It took some time, but after numerous contacts with the agency she was able to talk them down to about half of the total debt, and secure a written contract expressing the terms of repayment of said debt. I am so happy with the work Sarah Beth and her team did for me, I have literally no complaints or criticisms. She had thorough and helpful advice when I asked questions, kept up frequent correspondence via email, and was just all around knowledgeable and professional during this trying and stressful time in my life. Not only would I hire her again, but I would recommend her in a heartbeat to anyone having trouble working though a similar situation. Her rates are very fair, and I get the impression that she genuinely cares about her client's well-being. To close, I'd just like to say that I don't think I would have been able to navigate this situation by myself. The outstanding work of Sarah Beth and her staff didn't just save me money; it helped me through what was honestly a scary and uncertain time. Trying to work through the issue alone was very daunting, and the learning curve was pretty steep concerning my rights and what I could do in this situation. Today I have my license back, and I can drive my four month old daughter around in our boring minivan with a big old goofy smile on my face, and to me that's simply priceless. Thanks again Sarah Beth, and thanks to your very dedicated staff and the associates at Connolly Tacon & Meserve!

Outstanding Service from a Very INvolved Attorney

Sarah Beth assisted in the eviction of an unwelcome house guest who refused to leave when asked to do so. The letter she had served on the individual was extremely effective - it clearly spelled out what was expected and what would take place if the individual chose to be non-compliant. In preparat...ion for the latter Sarah Beth prepared the papers for submission to the court to obtain a formal eviction/ejection order and was ready to submit them if the individual did not vacate the premises as instructed in the letter. As it turns out the individual waited until the last possible minute and then left without a word ... but because Sarah Beth was prepared to follow through as promised in the letter I have no doubt that fact wasn't lost on the individual. I've dealt with her firm over the past 25 years and wouldn't think of going anyplace else. Her work was awesome, she fully communicated the status throughout the process and thought ahead to possible options open to us if the individual hadn't vacated my home ... great work!
