Gary Alan Preble

I hired Mr. Preble going on 3 years to handle a divorce. He was all gang ho saying he can definitely get this done and fast. My spouse fraudulently signed my name on the divorce decree. He surprisingly filed paperwork to combat that and district attorney found her at fault for perjury. He asked if I... wanted to press charges and put her in jail which I said yes, because she needs to learn a lesson...He never filed paperwork for that so this girl didn't learn her lesson. He called multiple times asking the same questions over and over again, making me feel like I'm the one on trial....even though I'm his client....He did file to make her pay lawyer fees, which I was granted lawyer fees. But the paperwork never states if it gets paid directly to me or Mr. Preble. I keep calling, emailing, texting, his law office but no response for months...I have to get hateful with him/staff to actually be taken serious. My names still on spouses car and the house. I've asked him to grow balls and talk to her lawyer and make her sell the car and house but still hasn't. Like I said its been a few months short of 3 years but nothing been done for my divorce, the house or car. I'm sick and tired of this guy and the whole firm.....

Mr. Preble listened to my case and seemed to know instinctively that the allegations against me were ridiculous and unfounded. There can be nothing worse than a CPS allegation. Mr. Preble seemed to intuitively understand the failures of such a system (CPS) and demonstrated consistent and an unwaverin...g support of our rights as parents and as a nuclear family. Mr. Preble was accessible and explained each step of the process in terms that we could understand, avoiding too much legalese. He was respectful of cost. He demonstrated professionalism. He infused humor to ease the anxiety. He provided reassurance to help us navigate one of the most torturous experiences we have ever had to endure. Mr. Preble's staff were knowledgeable. They always provided answers to our questions and always made us feel welcome. We prevailed against CPS. We are so grateful to Mr. Preble for taking our case and seeing us through the process with grace, faith and dignity.

I called to obtain his services and an appointment was set, which they cancelled on me 1 day prior to going to court and left me holding the bag. Obviously, with no time to seek out another attorney I ended up going to court without council. That tells me he doesn't give a damn about people,...all ...they said is they were sorry. Well his sorry didn't do much if anything for me in court.

I have used Gary in the past he worked out well for me I have recommended him to tons of people before . Never ever again !! I retained Gary recently for a parenting plan and have a child support order filed he charged over $6,000 dollars accomplished nothing never got child support filed in his Atto...rney fee agreement his hourly rate is $250 and his paralegal is $125 an hour I was told his paralegal Would be handling most all the documents , perfect I thought . Every time I talked to his paralegal trish she would always say she didn’t know what was going on and hadn’t been updated on the case and I always got the same old , same old line from them that Gary was working on far more important cases but they sure enjoyed my $6,000 plus checks. Most all the billing from the office was his full hourly rate not paralegal rate rip off ,his office staff is not on point when they send out billing statements they sent me another one of there clients statements with there address and all makes me wonder if they sent mine to another client . In the temporary parenting plan before it went into court the opposing party agreed to have something removed that was important to me , he went into court not 10 minutes later never lined it out and submitted it to the court . I noticed it later Gary said it was his fault and would take care of it. He never took care of it and trying to deal with it he charged me for his mistake around $600 dollars very unreliable and it cost me more with my future lawyer to have it removed . If you value your dollar you will choose another attorney .I was told by 3 other lawyers I talked to about his performance that day in the court room was that he caused me a lot of extra work and grief and a lot more money and he’s not respected in the county and the judge was not impressed .I retained another lawyer paid 4,000 she got my child support filed in 2 weeks and parenting plan done with $800 dollars coming back to me and everything’s finalized and good now .I wasn’t going to write a review however was encouraged to so people can be aware of the possible extra grief there gonna deal with if they become clients of his.

In 2006 Mr. Preble agreed to file a lawsuit on behalf of my husband and myself. We spent hours in his office, actually typing and labeling some of the court docs myself. A few weeks later he stopped responding to our calls and emails. We simply never heard from him or his associate Kristin again. Sin...ce we had moved from Washington by that time we were unable to go to his office directly. I would never recommend an attorney that would just quit responding after agreeing to file a lawsuit on your behalf.
