Review
I hired Mr. Kratz to help in my very high conflict family law case. We had an initial disagreement over billing but Mr. Kratz saw my viewpoint and refunded me $750!!! I am so grateful for that. I do not have the funds to continue to retain him. He gave me my closing file with his word as evidence as ...

This lawyer is ok.
Phil Kratz is OK lawyer, he could be as a brilliant lawyer if he want to, or do nothing for that client. I noticed that Kratz’s office has a very poor administrative service. Phil Kratz was working through my divorce in 2007. In the beginning, he was doing a good job, however later I was started no...

changed my tune a year later
I have reviewed this lawyer before on this site. However in the last year I have found that ALOT of loose ends where never taken care of. Shady billing practices.
To start their billing practices are atrocious. Charging to leave a message all the time while leaving you in the dark. When a bill does show up months later there is no explanation. I have never seen him argue with actual law references. I would never recommend this lawyer except for who to stay a...
"I endorse this lawyer. I have had cases against this lawyer. He is prepared, knows the law, and is ethical."
"I have known Phil the entirety of his career and come to respect him as a formidable opponent in court who is as equally skilled in resolving cases in mediation. Since he has been serving as a pro tem court commissioner, his litigation skills have been refined further by his focus on those facts on which he knows our judicial officers will rely. Phil is realistic and pragmatic; I have consistently relied on his judgment and intuition and will continue to do so into the future."
"Phil has an excellent grasp of the law in the ever changing family law field. He fights hard for his clients while maintaining a very high level of professional and personal ethics."
