We hired Phil in 2018 to do a modification on parenting plan. Paid the retainer and was doing well. He then after using his retainer money, we set up a monthly dollar amount until it was all done. He and his legal assistant didnt keep up with updates at all. After a year of nothing we finally told hi...m he was fired and going with a new attorney. Of course after we did the firing we found out from new attorney Phil had a stroke. Now why in the hell wouldn't he is legal assistant let us know that. He then didn't return any money for the work he didn't do anything with in the year nothing was getting done. I wouldn't recommend him at ALL. He doesnt communicate very good at all. Don't waist your time and money. It shouldnt take over a year to settle.

Mr. Kratz recently aided me through a divorce of a nearly 15 year marriage. Throughout Mr. Kratz was fair with pricing, and truly is an expert in his field who will ensure you get a fair deal. As I would be a bundle of nerves Mr. Kratz would always show up ready to champion and protect me. Nonsense ...tricks will not get passed him. I would also like to make a special note on his fair pricing. When you are going through a divorce your mind will go through 100 scenarios per day and you'll want your lawyer talking to you all the time. The problem is that their time isn't free. Mr. Kratz won't burn up your retainer on tons of emails and phone calls like so many others do or how other attornies claim to not charge for calls and texts, when really they just jack up your retainer fee. If you need someone to talk to get a psychiatrist and get Mr. Kratz to be your gladiator. The goals I set out on day one with Mr. Kratz was to maintain primary custody of the children and maintain their residence to minimize the impact of the divorce and that's exactly what he fought for and exactly what happened. Best choice I made was to retain him.

I hired Mr. Kratz to help in my very high conflict family law case. We had an initial disagreement over billing but Mr. Kratz saw my viewpoint and refunded me $750!!! I am so grateful for that. I do not have the funds to continue to retain him. He gave me my closing file with his word as evidence as ...to the contempt situation with my ex husband. He wished me well and hopes my situation with my child turns out in my favor and we have a happy life together. I would rehire Mr. Kratz if ever I am able to. Kim S.

Phil Kratz is OK lawyer, he could be as a brilliant lawyer if he want to, or do nothing for that client. I noticed that Kratz’s office has a very poor administrative service. Phil Kratz was working through my divorce in 2007. In the beginning, he was doing a good job, however later I was started no...ticing that he did not put enough time and effort for my divorce and custody case and I would say he did not care about the result of the case. At that time going through my divorce I did not have clear direction where we are going, what will be next step, for several times I could not reach anyone in his office. His office was sending to me the several copies of a threating motions or responses from other party with no explanation or notes for that. The last drop was for me when I receive the statement and I did not what to do and for about three weeks I could not rich anyone from his office. No responses, no calls back, no e-mails. I felt that I am paying to attorney for nothing and everything I have to do on my own, with no attorney help. I lose a trust for this attorney, and change him.
