My practice is focused solely on handling consumer bankruptcy cases. Prior to law school, I worked for a bankrutpcy attorney in Fort Worth, TX as a paralegal, and during law school, I worked for a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustee. I believe this experience gives me an added perspective in handling bankruptcy cases, and I make every effort to make sure your paperwork is complete and correct to ensure a smooth process and succesful outcome.
My knowledgeable assitant and I work with you directly. We understand that filing is a big decision, and is often caused by various stressful situations in your life. We try to make the process as stress-free as possible as we understand that we are serving real people, not just handling cases.

Excellent
I was stressed out trying to find an attorney for my bankruptcy, she took 45 minutes with me FREE and took time to tell me the differences and in the different Chapters and helped me decide which way to go. She didn't rush me in and out like all the others. I hope i never have to use her again, but i...
"Jill is a wonderful bankruptcy attorney. I am pleased to have come to know her over recent years. I've noticed that she is compassionate and kind to her clients, and takes time to answer their questions thoroughly. She is a highly competent bankruptcy attorney. I wouldn't hesitate to refer clients to her."
"Jill Elder has a wonderful enthusiasm for the field of bankruptcy & hope to see more of her here on Avvo. I am happy to endorse her."
"I endorse this lawyer. I worked on the opposite side of a case from her and was impressed with how hard she worked for her client and how she would not give up until she acheived a good result."
"Jill is a hard-working, hard-nosed attorney. I am very pleased to endorse her and her work product."
"I endorse this lawyer's work. Our firm does not have a Bankruptcy practice and I refer all of my clients needing these services exclusively to Ms. Elder. Several of my clients who have engaged her services have let me know how satisfied they were with her work on their matters. I am confident in referring to her, she is professional and knowledgable in her field. In the past I have also been opposing counsel on matters with Ms. Elder and found her to be courteous, ethical and professional without compromising her client's position. It is a pleasure working with Ms. Elder and I would strongly recommend her to anyone seeking bankruptcy assistance."
