One of the best, I highly recommend

Matt Stanley represented us during an IRS subpoena process for unpaid taxes, and is helping us through the process of an Offer in Compromise. Matt is exactly the man you want representing you with the IRS. Matt Stanley is professional, courteous and confident. When the IRS agent contacting us was ...threatening or tried scare tactics, Matt remained calm and cool, and quoted relevant portions of the tax code to the agent to get him to back down. When our meetings with the IRS were over, Matt reassured us that everything was ok, and outlined exactly why it was ok. A lot of the IRS process involves a lot of waiting for their response; Matt has always been available for us to answer any questions, or concerns we had during these long waits. We highly recommend Matt Stanley to anyone dealing with the IRS on any tax issue: he is not only professional and knowledgeable, but he becomes a friend and ally when you need one the most. We interviewed many attorneys before we made our choice. It was the best choice!

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
