Jack represented our family in a wrongful death lawsuit against the Department of Corrections. At first glance, many may have seen this matter as a simple case of an inmate dying in prison. Our family new that a grave injustice had been committed and Jack agreed.
His tireless work and tenacious advocacy resulted in the largest settlement in the history of this WA State for an inmate wrongful death lawsuit against the DOC. This result was due in large part to Jack's unparalleled commitment to his clients and his strong belief that when injustice occurs, that violators must be held accountable.

" Jack is without peer in the area of governmental liability, and has been the author of many amazing jury verdicts for those injured by improperly supervised felons (DOC liability) or children not properly supervised by DSHS. As President of the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association, Jack also guided our association to victory relevant to Initiative 330, an effort by the medical and insurance interets to strip injured people in Washington of their rights. Clearly in the top 1% of lawyers in this State. Brad Fulton, lawyer, Everett, WA."
