If you are in need of a lawyer, then in my experience you are dealing with a high level of fear, anxiety, uncertainty, and probably also unsure of where to turn. I first spoke to Matt after business hours when he returned my call from his cell phone and he gave me 30-45 minutes of his time. Not onc...e during the conversation did I feel rushed, talked over, or like he was trying to figure out how he could benefit from my situation. What I did feel was that he was listening to me, understanding my situation, asking great questions, and giving me great advice. Matt even went so far as to communicate with my worried mother and was able to put her mind at ease, and explain the process to her in a manner that calmed her anxiety. There aren't enough 'Thank You's' in the world for that type of action and it outlines that Matthew has values outside of just landing the next job. This to me was another sign that I was speaking to a highly ethical and caring professional. Although I hope I never need a criminal defense attorney again, I would not hesitate to give a friend or family member over to Matt as he left that positive of an impression on me, not only with his knowledge of the law but of his ability to explain things in a direct manner that makes sense, and the extra mile he goes to comfort and ease someone who is no doubt going through a stressful period. I wrote this review because I wish I had been aware of Matthew 2 years prior when I was initially charged and I wish I could have had his expertise and professionalism on my side. Matt I cannot thank you enough for everything you did for myself and my family and I am confident that people like you who operate with the level of caring and ethics that you showed to me find that the world brings that goodness back to them. If you are looking for an attorney that is very sharp, professional, easy to talk to and understand, and who will give you his full attention and generous with his time and advice then look no further and proceed with confidence.
